Create your DMCN address
Setting up DMCN takes about two minutes. Everything that keeps your mail private is created right on your device as you go — there’s nothing on our servers that could be used to read it later.
You’ll create a passphrase during setup. Because only you hold it, we can’t reset it for you — so keep your recovery method somewhere safe (step 3).
1. Pick your address
Choose the name you want and the domain that suits you — every plan lets you use dmcn.email, dmcn.me or dmcn.io.
you@dmcn.email
2. Set your passphrase
Create a passphrase, or use a passkey with your face or fingerprint. This is what unlocks your keys on your device. We never see it, and it never leaves your device.
3. Save your recovery
Recovery in DMCN works by pairing another trusted device — not by a password reset that could expose your mail. Add a second device now, or save your recovery kit somewhere safe.
- Pair your phone and laptop so either can restore the other.
- Store your recovery kit in a password manager or somewhere offline.
4. Send your first message
That’s it — you’re ready. Compose a message to anyone, on DMCN or on a regular address. Between DMCN inboxes it’s end-to-end encrypted; to regular email it’s secured in transit across the bridge.
